It's A Boy!

Hi scrappers! Wow, I can't believe how long it's been since my last post. I'm getting ready for my sister in law's baby shower on the 19th of this month, and one if my duties are the decorations. I created a banner using my new Silhouette Cameo, which I LOVE! It cuts my Papertrey Ink Cardstock so incredibly well and it amazes me every time.

I was able to use a font already on my computer and purchased 3 images from the Silhouette online store; the pennant, monkey and lion. Each image was only 99 cents! How fantastic is that?!

Look at these faces, I love my Peachy Keen stamps!

So, what can you expect from me next? More baby shower decorations, holiday cards and gifts and projects featuring Copic markers. I took the Copic certification class just over a week ago and I'm really excited about everything I learned. I still have a lot of practicing to do, but I'm looking forward to it.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you back here soon!

An Afternoon in the Park

Good evening. I have to say, I'm glad this week is coming to an end. These are not the best pictures I've taken, so I apologize, but I'm too tired to take more. I think the LO turned out pretty cute, so I hope you guys like it. I designed this LO for some pictures I took of my family at the park.

Recipe
PP-My Mind's Eye
CS-Bazzil
Papertrey Ink, Zig brown pen, Sakura whilte gelly roll pen, Peachy Keen stamps (everyday character face asst. for the squirrel)

I cut the squirrel, tree, grass and flowers from Create a Critter. The journaling square was part of the MME paper collection.

I'd love to hear what you guys think! Thanks for stopping by, and come back soon!

Throwback Thursday Challenge

Good evening! This is my entry for this week's Throwback Thursday Challenge at My Creative Time with Emma. Our challenge this week was an animal theme with the Zoobaloo cartridge. As always, if we don't have the cartridge Emma just asks that we stick to the theme and use an older cartridge. Since I don't have Zoobaloo I used Everyday Paper Dolls and Alphalicious.

A couple of weeks ago I took my nephew to see 'The Lion King' for his 5th birthday. We had so much fun! This week I decided to alter a frame so I can put a picture in it from our day out, and Micah hang it in his bedroom. I think it's adorable and I know Micah will love it. I cut a photo mat to place the picture on and adhered that to a white piece of cardstock. I secured the ribbon on the left side so I can slide the picture underneath. I did the same thing with the lion, and just glued down the right side...I actually used a few pop dots. I used my gypsy to weld the words. I also attached one of our tickets to the mat, which I think is a fun memento and it has the date, time, and location of the event on it as well. Then I just used a few stickers I had to finish it off. The mat that came with the frame was white and I decided to spice it up a little. I used two different colors of blue glimmer mist to do that.

Recipe:
Lion-Everyday Paper Dolls
Font-Alphalicious
Paper-Fancy Pants and My Mind's Eye (I think, they were all from my scraps)
Ribbon-Papertrey Ink
Glimmer Mist-Denim and Peacock(Chalkboard)
I also used some chalk to highlight the lion's cheeks as well as my black and white gel pens.

I hope you like it. I love comments and followers. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you come back soon.

Smore Please

Good afternoon. I have another great beach layout for you today. I have some great pictures from an evening on the beach with my nephew. It was a great day, and what better way to finish it off?...sitting around a fire and making smore's! We had so much fun.

Recipe:
Paper-Anna Griffin (Calisto Collection)
scrap paper for the crabs
Word Art-FUN, Cindy Loo
SMORE PLEASE, Don Juan
Crabs-Create A Critter
Sign Posts and buckets-H2O Cricut Lite
Peachy Keen Stamps-Critter Faces
Stamp on small sign post-Papertrey Ink (Mixed Messages)

I also inked the edges with chai and chamomille, and dark chocolate hybrid ink pads from PaperTrey Ink. I also used my white gel pen for doodling.

So here's my question: Do you prefer to look at LO's with or without pictures already attached? Thanks for visiting and come back soon!
