Emma at My Creative Time, had another challenge for us this week. She asked us to use the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge and the colors red, blue and brown. Red is my favorite color, so I was happy to oblige.I decided to make a scrapbook page. In general I do two page layouts, but I was only able to take one picture and so it became a single page. I plan on adding a coordinating page.
The pattern paper is from My Mind's Eye. I took some light brown/taupe cardstock and tore about a two inch strip to create the look of sand. The photo mats are from the SYI cart and I used the 'real dial size' feature on my gypsy to size them for my pictures. The word art, shells and sandcastle are all from SYI as well. Then I just added a prima flower, some red bling and a thick twine wrapped around the base. I also did a little bit of inking with some chai and chamomile ink from Papertrey Ink.
